It is Bacon's objective to illustrate the fugacity of man and nature, his favorite mode of presentation is the triptych. He avoids interpretation, which he leaves to the observer, however, his works are always an attempt and an approach to what he is actually occupied with. In doing so he is painter and technician who always follows his instincts. [DB].
