The "Kauernde [The Crouching], which Klimsch occasionally also called "Katze"[Cat], because of her lurking posture and the scared but yet determined look, is quite a contrast to the stern and harsh works from the fourties, due to her flowing contours. This is presumably the reason why this bronze is so tremendously popular. [JS].
