Cast by Gießerei Barth, Berlin. The artist expresses impressions he made during a journey through Spain in 1949 in this figure. The lithograph "Spanisches Tänzerpaar" [Dancing Spanish Couple] and the woodcut "La Farucca" were made the same year. [NB]
Good overall impression. Left arm and breats with faint scratches and traces of rubbing. Edges of base minimally rubbed in places.
