1 of 200 copies (complete prin trun 225). - Elaborate portfolio edition by the Bruckmann foundation on occasion of Michelangelo Buonarotti's 500th birthday. Textual and artistic conception by L. Dussler, W. Haftmann and E. Steingräber, layout by E. Wild.
Contains etchings, partly in colors by G. Manzù, Fr. Wotruba, E. Paolozzi, J. Ipoustéguy, E. Greco, J. Castillo, D. Hockney (Scottish Arts Council no. 173) and M. Marini (Guastalla 325) as well lithographs in colors by H. Antes (Lutze 775 2a), A. Masson, R. Guttuso, H. Moore (Cramer 333) and P. Wunderlich (Riediger 506). Printed on various wove papers, some with blindstamp and dated, size of sheet ca. 79 : 59 cm. Each numbered 2/200 and signed (the Wotruba etching inscribed "für Fritz Wotruba Lucy Wotruba".
