Erste vollständige Ausgabe, 1766f. erschien eine Ausgabe bei Varon mit 72 Tafeln. Mit hervorragenden und minutiös ausgeführten Kupfern ausgestattetes entomologisches Werk. "They are engraved by L. A. Eisenmann, Val. Bischoff, C. Lotter, G. P. Trautner, and C. F. C. Kleemann, the latter refers to this work in a note to his edition of Roesel von Rosenhof's book. Voet was a son of Carel Burchart Voet (1671-1745) who made a beautiful manuscript of insects and their metamorphoses following closely Goedaert .. According to NNBW vol. 10 C. B. Voet is the author of the above work, but it is more likely that the drawings of the coleoptera are by Johan Eusebius - not mentioned by any Dutch biographer on artists and painters - who has also written the text."
