Bis auf die sehr seltenen Supplement-Bände vollständiges Exemplar des bekannten Werkes mit den Pflanzendarstellungen in zartem Kolorit. Die schönen Kupfertafeln zeigen überwiegend Blütenpflanzen, ferner Farne, Gräser, Moose, Flechten und Algen. - "It is one of the most celebrate British floras, the chief reason for the work's success being the charming engravings by Sowerby.
