Kirchner" (This graphic, catalog K no. 77 is an original work by my brother Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Berlin-Grünau, 1 February,. 47, signed W. Kirchner ). One of just two copies known of to present. On green gray wove paper. 41 x 33 cm (16,1 x 12,9 in). Sheet: 47,2 x 37 cm (18,5 x 14,5 in).
One of the early lithographs in harmonic impression, which particularly emphasizes the soft drawing of the litho chalk. Presumably hand print from Kirchner's studio, lower margin with turpentine etching. The other known copy is in possession of the Kunsthalle, Emden. Very rare. [KD].
