Nissen 440. - Pritzel 2005. - De Belder 87. - Sitwell/Blunt pp. 88f. - De Belder on the second edition: "The final two volumes are entirely new, with plates mostly from drawings by Hooker ... together with his own description". - With explanatory text on each plate. The nice plates show numerous plants and herbs etc. - Lacking plates 23, 24, 34 and 62. - With isolated foxing, few plates with faint offsetting of text, 2 text l. with rebacked tears, pastedowns with traces of glue. Binding somewhat scraped.
