Vgl. Weale/Boh. 1306. - Schönes venezianisches Missale, durchgehend in Rot und Schwarz gedruckt und mit zahlreichen Musiknoten. Gedruckt in der Offizin von Boniface Ciera, dessen liturgische Drucke in Venedig für die Jahre von 1592-1604 nachgewiesen sind. Der zweite Teil mit dem Titel Missae propriae festorum ordinis fratris Minorum. Zahlr. Blätter mit ergänzenden Einträgen von alter Hand zwischengebunden, sowie am Ende 16 weit. Blätter aus einem anderen Missale. Die Mittelstücke des Einbandschmucks zeigen eine Kreuzigungs- bzs. Auferstehungsszene. - Tlw. leicht fingerfleckig, Bl. 253 und d. l. w. Bl. fehlt, Titel mit altem Bibl.-Stempel eines Kapuzinerklosters. Einband berieben, ob. Kapital restauriert. 1 Schließe entfernt.
Fine Venetian missal, printed in red and black throughout and with numerous musical notes. Printed in the workshop of Boniface Ciera. With 15 mostly fullpage woodcuts in the text, 2 woodcut printer's devices and numerous illustrations of music notes. Contemp. calf over wooden boards with gilt tooling on cover and spine and 2 brass clasps. - Slightly thumbed in places, l. 253 and the last blank leaf missing, title with an old library stamp from a Capuchin monastery. Binding rubbed, upper spine end restored. 1 clasp removed.
