Cartier 527: "Assez bonne impression et bon papier." - Sehr selten, nicht im BM STC, bei Adams und Mortimer. - Die schöne Adler-Titelbordüre (Cartier A.2: "Grand cadre architectural d'ordre corinthien.") wurde nur in diesem Werk verwendet und ist laut Cartier für Seb. Gryphius geschnitten worden. "Il me paraît probable que cette édition a dû être imprimée par Jean II de compte à demi avec Ant. Gryphe au nom duquel il doit y avoir des exemplaires." (ebd.) - Tlw. etw. gebräunt und wasserrandig, ca. 70 Bll. zu Anfang und am Ende mit hinterl. oder erg. Feuchtigkeitsspuren, Titel ganz aufgezogen, 1 Bl. mit Einriß. Einbd. stärker beschabt und bestoßen.
Scarce, not in BM STC, Adams and Mortimer. With elaborated architect. woodcut titleborder (eagle, Cartier A.2), 1 woodcut portrait, 2 schemat. woodcuts in text and some criblé-initials. Contemp. calf. - Some browning and waterstaining in places, ca. 70 leaves at beginning and end with marginal defects by damp (rebacked or mended), title mounted, 1 l. torn. Binding rubbed and bumped.
