Zwölf Gedichte. 1936.
Twelve Watercolor s.
Signed on title and dedicated, monogrammed and dated on one sheet. Each double sheet with a watercolor and the title of the poem' on the first page, third page with autographed poem. On laid paper double sheet (with centerfold). 19 x 14.5 cm (7.4 x 5.7 in).
The manuscript with a dedication for Otto Korradi from Munich is a unique object. It contains beautiful watercolors, mostly views of Ticino landscapes. Comprise, among others, the following poems: Pfirsichblüte, Blumen nach dem Gewitter, Schmetterling, Wollust, Karfeitag, Einmal in Kindertagen, Häuser am Abend, Herbstgefühl, Spätsommer 1929. Otto Korradi and Hermann Hesse maintained correspondence for several years. [EH].
