After he had completed school and military service as a pilot, Will Brüll studied at the Art Academy Düsseldorf under Joseph Enseling from 1945 to 50. Since 1962 he had been occupied with dynamization of surfaces in space. His preferred material for his sculptures is stainless steel. The Brüll-Houfer-Foundation, established by him and his wife, preserves the couple's work and grants scholarships for young sculptors. [CB].
